Lore & Background

Taivas - The Sky Court

Taivas Druthal are the high-place Elves of wind terraces, sky bridges, storm records, weather scholarship, and beacon routes.

They understand the sky as a landscape.

It contains:

paths

currents

danger

right-of-way

weather

visibility

Their Court responsibilities focus on making that landscape usable without pretending it can ever be completely controlled.

Relationship with Aldaener

Taivas Druthal frequently share high routes and airspace with Aldaener peoples.

Modern Taivas law emphasizes that maintaining a sky route does not mean owning the sky.

That distinction is essential to good relations.

Beacon Duty

A beacon exists for people far away.

The keeper may never meet those whose lives depend upon it.

This idea strongly shapes Taivas ethics.

Much of their culture values doing work for people who may never know who performed it.

Modern Taivas Identity

Taivas Druthal value weather knowledge, communication, and shared navigation.

Their greatest virtue is awareness.

Their danger is believing accurate observation makes them immune to surprise.
