Forest-Folk (Tree-Kin)

The living wood given will - tree-folk who grow rather than are born, rising from the rootbed of a grove through sproutling, shrubling, and treeling until, after centuries of stillness, they harden into an Oaken One who speaks for the whole forest. Beside them move the Druaecir, the Dryads: the manifested souls of the wild spaces between the groves, more capricious and more dangerous than their rooted cousins.
